Nothing is more important in our lives than our relationships. Great relationships boost your immune system, open your heart, and keep you vital and creative.

Tobi Bakken, MS, LCPC

I was born and raised in Montana, where I grew up riding horses, playing basketball, and driving before I had a license. I first became interested in psychology as a teen, after attending therapy during my parent’s divorce.

Through this experience, I developed a deep desire to make sense of human behavior and decided then that I wanted to become a therapist. Even from a young age, I knew that there is something truly special about being with someone as they wrestle with life’s big challenges. What an honor!

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my sessions. My mission in doing this is to help my clients develop self-trust, trust in others, voice their needs, grow in compassion, to be seen, to be authentic, to connect, and to heal. I aim to be a holder of hope, and a presence of compassion, grace, humor and understanding.

When not working, I am raising my kids, doing house projects, napping, spending time in nature, creating art or caring for my vast collection of plants.

Kelley Sinnott, Counseling Intern

After two decades of enjoying the mountains and rivers of the Gallatin Valley, I’ve pivoted from a career in aviation to a new mission of strengthening families. My background in bartending taught me the art of connection, but my own journey through marriage and parenthood inspired me to help others navigate those same life-changing transitions.

As an MFT Intern, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples move out of "survival mode" and back into a cohesive team. I am particularly passionate about supporting couples through the transition to parenthood, helping them maintain their identities and intimacy as the family grows and changes. Whether we’re discussing communication, parenting, or conflict my goal is to help couples build a resilient family legacy.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me with my family on the ski hill, in the water, or baking something delicious.
